Biography

Yvonne is a Clinical Nurse Tutor (Critical Care) at the School of Nursing and Midwifery in Trinity College Dublin. She was awarded a Master in Nursing and Clinical Health Education from Trinity College Dublin and awarded a Degree in Nursing with a Distinction from Napier University Scotland. She is part of the general discipline and the clinical skills team. Responsibilities include teaching clinical skills across all disciplines and facilitating the physical assessment skill development for master level students. Yvonne is an active member of the Research Spirituality Innovative Group in the School of Nursing and Midwifery. She previously worked as a Course Coordinator/Clinical facilitator in Intensive care. In this clinical manager role, she coordinated and collaborated with multi-disciplinary expert team members in managing a foundation course in critical care. Yvonne's research interests are: looking at better outcomes for end-of-life-care in critical care; palliative care; compassionate care and integrative care.
