TCD is ranked 146 in the World by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022 in terms of citations (research impact). In addition to the institutional support for research that is provided by the College, the School of Nursing and Midwifery has a Director of Research and a Research Office to support research activity and project management. The TCD School of Nursing & Midwifery is ranked 42nd in the World in the QS World University Subject Rankings 2022. The research groups, the TCPHI and IPH represent areas of focused research among our research teams and which are led by research leaders in the respective fields.
