As Director of Global Relations, I would like to welcome you to the School of Nursing & Midwifery, Trinity College Dublin. Trinity College Dublin, founded in 1592, is ranked first in Ireland and 101st in the QS World Rankings.

Our School is the leading School of Nursing and Midwifery in Ireland, ranking 41st in the World (QS World University Subject Rankings 2023). The School offers a suite of undergraduate and post graduate programmes up to PhD level, supported by internationally recognised and committed academics in diverse fields of nursing, midwifery, public health and healthcare. Our focus is to facilitate and support students in their academic endeavours, enabling achievement of individual goals.

The School has an active research community which impacts on enhancing evidence and practice in diverse areas of health and social care, public policy, and community engagement. We aim to make a positive difference in the lives of people at the individual, family, community, and population levels.

Our international collaborations include a robust Erasmus Student Exchange Programme, study abroad programmes and collaborations with high quality Nursing and Midwifery Schools such as those in Pennsylvania University, Hong Kong University, and the University of Sydney. We also offer Winter and Summer Schools which facilitate both academic and cultural learning.
