There was representation from 15 International Universities in total, 11 from the US, 2 from Canada, 1 from China and 1 from the West Indies. Quite a few of these institutions such as Boston College, McMaster University, Idaho State University, UC Davis, Notre Dame (St. Mary’s College) and Duke University have existing links with Trinity College Dublin.
The attendees were greeted by the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Mary McCarron. Dr Frances O’Brien, Director of International Initiatives and members of the Global team gave a presentation about Trinity and the School. The delegates then went on to tour campus and the Book of Kells.
