Application Process
If your ethics application falls under the criteria for submission to the School of Nursing and Midwifery, there are three main application processes:
- For committee approval, please fill in the SNMREC Standard Ethics Application Form. Fill in all the required sections and return it via email as one merged document to snm.ethics.com@tcd.ie by 12 noon on the published deadline below.
- For Chair approval, for applicants without ethical approval from another organisation, please also use the SNMREC Standard Ethics Application Form.
- Researchers/students who have ethical approval, or are in the process of seeking approval from another organisation, may be eligible to apply for Chair approval. Please refer to our Operating Procedures below for further information.
Applicants need to also submit one signed copy of their application to:
